Introduction




This is an electronic portfolio that I have to make for my Practice teaching class. This portfolio captures all my process form beginning to end in how much I learn in this semester by being inside the classroom of a third grade. Here you will see my progress from doing things more from logic to doing the things how I’m actually suppose to do them. I will learn about: how to teach a class, helping my students in everything they need not only in school but if they need it personal to, who need more individual help than the others, to participate in school activities, to bring new ideas for extracurricular activities and much more.
All this experience it’s going to help to become a good teacher in the future. I have always love children even from an early age. At first I thought a lot about becoming a babysitter between the ages of 5 through 8, but in my later years I also discovered that when people talked English I corrected them, even my own parents. A lot of my friends told me that I should become a teacher because of that and I talked to my parents about it. They where trilled with it, especially my dad who is a Professor in the University and that was like fallowing his footsteps. My mom loved the idea because she knew I had the vocation for it and she always encourage me to go for my dreams no matter what they are, and to do what I love. That’s when I knew I had to become an English teacher for kids; it had both thinks that I loved children and teaching.
I had had bad experiences with teachers like everyone else so I know I won’t be like them I really believe that. I will become the best teacher I can become. My teaching philosophy will be no children it’s left behind of all the fun in learning. I believe that no child should be left behind at all; all children should have the same opportunity in learning. I also think that the best way to teach children is by having fun while learning that way they get excited and want to learn more and more each day.
